Alyeska Hideaway is a private nightly rental located 35miles south of Anchorage in Girdwood Alaska, gateway to the Kenai Peninsula and Prince William Sound. Girdwood being surrounded by the Chugach Mountains is home to the largest ski resort in Alaska - Alyeska Resort. Alyeska Hideaway is only 2 miles from the slopes. You can drive the short distance to ski or snowboard or you can hop on Glacier Valley Transit – our local public transportation in town. When the snow has melted there are great hiking and biking trails to explore.

When staying at Alyeska Hideaway you will enjoy the privacy of your own log cabin and the peace of being located at the end of a private road. The cabin is 640 sq. feet with an upper bedroom loft overlooking the living room. The loft can accommodate 4 people. The living room has a full sized futon to accommodate 2 more. Alyeska Hideaway is fully furnished including bedding, towels and all kitchen items so you can make yourself at home while exploring Girdwood and South Central Alaska.

Patrick is an Alaskan born in Anchorage, while Lynne' came up from Woodbury Minnesota in '95. We moved to Girdwood after marrying and have enjoyed the peaceful small community that Girdwood offers, and feel that it is a great place to raise our family.
